Ingredients:

  • Sliced cucumbers
  • Fresh berries (e.g., strawberries or blueberries)
  • Ham or turkey slices
  • Real cheese slices (e.g., cheddar or gouda)
  • Whole-grain crackers

Steps:

  1. Use a compartmentalized lunch container to keep ingredients fresh and separate.
  2. Place sliced cucumbers and fresh berries in the largest compartment. These moisture-heavy ingredients pair well together.
  3. Roll up ham or turkey slices, cut into bite-sized pieces, and place in another compartment.
  4. Add cheese slices to their own compartment for a rich, adult-friendly flavor.
  5. Store crackers in the smallest compartment to prevent sogginess.
  6. Cover with the lid, refrigerate overnight, and pack with an ice pack in your lunch bag in the morning.
